Sandro Fay is one of Valtellina's true artisans, crafting a range of alpine Nebbiolo that beautifully showcase the variety of the region's vineyards. They describe Costa Bassa as their 'classic wine'. Made from relatively low (below 450m) vineyards in the Valgella subzone, it is a fragrant, energising rendition of Nebbiolo that is indeed classic Valtellina.
