What we do
Dark Sea Wine (formerly Wine & Greene) is a modern independent wine merchant. We sell a carefully chosen selection of the wines we love to drink. That means:
- A diverse, ever-changing range focused on Europe's most exciting growers.
- Carefully-sourced, mature classics for drinking now.
- Next Level House Wines offering quality and character up to £15.
We like authentic, interesting wine made traditionally, by growers who farm conscientiously and avoid chemicals in the vineyard. We're particularly interested in overlooked European regions and grape varieties. We are specialists in the wines of Greece.
You'll find our shop in Totnes, Devon, housed in an old record store in the town's historic Narrows. We're also online, right here, and deliver across the UK.

Dark Sea Wine (formerly Wine & Greene) was started by me, Ben Greene. Before this I worked in the London wine trade, selling (and when possible, drinking) the world's best wines. In 2018 I moved to Devon to set up the kind of wine shop I'd like to find, that sells the wines I most want to drink.
