The late Marcel Lapierre was one of the 'Gang of Four' - the unofficial founding fathers of the natural wine movement. This nine hectare estate, with holdings mostly in Morgon, is now run by his children Mathieu and Camille. Together, they continue his legacy, making pure, soulful wines using traditional and artisanal methods. Raisins Gaulois is their vin de soif - a juicy, light and easygoing Gamay made from younger vines. Served cool, it makes the perfect summer red.
