Cuvée Gerontampelo is a new wine from Argyros made from very old vines in Pyrgos, Megalochori and Episkopi. These organically farmed Assyrtiko vines yield a very powerful wine, which then sees French oak, adding a further layer of richness. Gerontampelo is a magnificent example of the heights Santorini Assyrtiko can reach - a wine of great intensity capable of improving with many years of cellaring.
