Tetramythos' Retsina Amphore Nature is the polar opposite of the cheap, mass-produced Retsina that has given the wine a bad name. Made with fruit from organic, unirrigated vineyards, it is fermented in clay amphorae and flavoured with pine resin from the trees surrounding the vineyards. The difference between this and their conventional Retsina is the natural approach to winemaking. The wine is unfined and unfiltered. Retsina has been around for thousands of years, and this is the closest thing you'll get to what it used to taste like - a fascinating, eccentric and utterly authentic wine.
