Koehler-Ruprecht was founded in 1700s, building a reputation for quality dry Rieslings during a period when the style was nowhere near as popular as today. Various wines are made from grapes with different levels of ripeness. This Auslese is stunning, with richness and depth from very ripe Riesling grapes, yet completely dry. All the fruit comes from the great Saumagen vineyard.
