The justly popular Château Lynch-Bages is officially a Fifth Growth. In reality its quality is consistently far higher, and the top wine can be among the best in Bordeaux. The second wine which was called Château Haut-Bages Averous and is now Echo de Lynch-Bages, is superb value for money.
