Il Paradiso di Manfredi make some of the best Brunello di Montalcino you will ever taste. They are a small, family-owned winery working in a decidedly low-tech way and farming a scant 2.5 hectares of Sangiovese wines organically and biodynamically. Fermentation is in concrete tanks and production is tiny - around 9,000 bottles a year in total split between Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino. These are essentially the same wine, the only difference being additional ageing time for the Brunello. The wines are gorgeous expressions of Sangiovese. The Rosso di Montalcino has incredible freshness, lovely fruit character and perfect balance.
